Parent pushable ride-in cars have become extremely popular in the past couple years, and for good reason. They’re the perfect solution for leisurly strolls around the neighborhood, trips to the park or expeditions to the mall.

You guys know that we love Hape so much that the Scoot Around bike got the title of the Best Wooden Toy.

The Radio Flyer is probably one of the cutest trikes to ever hit the market, it is a timeless design that has gone pretty much unchanged since I was a kid.

This ride-on has a steel frame that’s almost impossible to dent or bend, making it perfect for kids who are still learning how to ride.

The Radio Flyer features rubber tires and spoke wheels which ensure extra stability for your little ones.

The handlebars are wide making them easy for kids to grab, they also make it more difficult for the trike to tip over. And the steps in back help kids get on and off the trike.

In addition to the Classic Red, you can also get the trike in a pastel pink version.

To celebrate 30 successful years in the business, Little Tikes remodeled and redesigned an old fan-favorite — the Cozy Coupe. And judging by the response they did a bang up job!

This is one of the consistently best rated ride on toys across just about every platform I check. Parents and kids just love it.

The Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage is the absolute cutest ride-on toy probably in the world. If your kids have ever dreamed of being Cinderella or living out their princess fantasies, you need to get them this Little Tikes toy right now.

The Princess Carriage gets amazing reviews from parents (and kids) and has been on Amazon’s Choice product list for a very long time.

One of the best things about this ride-on is that parents can control it from both the front and back. In the back there is smallish, not so comfortable handle – but in the front – the reins flip around effectively turning the carriage into a pullable wagon.

WARNING: There will be an hour or two long assembly required when purchasing this product since there are many features you will need to put together. From the handle to the carriage, to the horse. This, however, still doesn’t stop many parents from purchasing and loving this ride-on.

I love the retro look of this cute rocket inspired ride-on toy. If you’re looking for a prop for your kids’ next Instagram photoshoot you really can’t do much better than the radio flyer rocket. However, as a ride-on toy, it has some issues – like the fact that the front wheels are not steerable. 

This doesn’t seem to be a problem for most kids below 2 as they will mostly use the toy as a walker, but as your child grows older they may become a bit frustrated by the lack of steering.

2 Toys for the Price of One

The Rockin’ Ride Pony features an adorable pony design that can easily go from rocking to riding in a matter of seconds.

The pony has 4 plastic wheels that allow your child to scoot around the house using their little legs. When they get tired you can change it up by locking the horse into the rocker base, instantly changing it into a rocking horse.

The Rocking Rider is covered in a soft, plushy material that your kids are bound to enjoy and when they squeeze the pony’s ear, they can hear an exclusive My Pony song, along with six phrases.

Finally, the pony has a synchronized moving mouth that’ll make the whole experience feel more realistic for your tots.

It’s adorable and a great thing for kids, but the wheels are finicky, the hair falls out, and it’s cheap plastic overall.

The Rocking Rider gets great reviews from parents and kids but there have been numerous complaints about the song player breaking after several months.

This is a great option if you have limited space (or budget) the pony’s ability to transform from ride-on to rocker will keep your child entertained for hours. However, If you are not that interested in the ride-on aspect and just want a simple rocking horse the next item is probably a better choice.

Labebe also makes several models with convertible wheels which is a nice addition – BUT on the wheeled version, there is no seat-belt – which in my opinion is a major over-site as it is one of the best features on the original version.

I would stick to the wheel-less models – unless you absolutely must have the Hippie Green Dinosaur (which is awesome) as I could only find that design in the wheeled version.
