16 Best Ride-On Toys for Toddlers & PreSchoolers

Best Ride-On Toy Reviews

Here are my honest reviews of the best of the best ride-on toddler toys. If you don’t see anything that strikes your fancy in the Top Picks, be sure to check out my 25 additional items later in the post. They’re all great toys too, and it was painful to deny them a space in the big leagues.

The Original PlasmaCar by PlaSmart

Best Overall Ride-On Toy

The Original PlasmaCar is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers on the market, and an extremely versatile and safe one at that.

Its design is so ingenious that your kids (or grandkids) don’t have to work any pedals or push themselves to get it to work. The car also doesn’t require any batteries or power to run. Instead, they can just prop their little feet on the footrests and twist the steering wheel to get the car to move.

Your children can play with their PlasmaCar both inside and outside and it works on almost any surface. Also, this cool little toy comes in three colors: Blue, Purple, and Red and Green.

Age & Size Limitations

But wait, I haven’t even gotten to the best part about the PlasmaCar yet — it’s good for almost all ages! The company says that everyone from the ages of 3 up to 99 can ride the car. It’s also a one-size-fits-all kind of car, so you don’t have to get a bigger model when your kids get older.

In fact, I even saw people buying the PlasmaCar for them even though they were in their 60s, which means it’s a fun toy for all decades. It can also withstand up to 220 lbs, making it perfect for both kids and adults.

The Safety Features

The PlasmaCar is made from ABS plastic. It’s extremely durable, non-corrosive, and tough to bend or scrape. What’s more, the company says its car exceeds all US, Canadian, and European safety standards.

The car also comes with a PlasmaCar-patented safety seat and polypropylene wheels.

What We Like:

Doesn’t need batteries or power to work
Develops gross motor skills and upper body coordination and control
Can hold up to 220 lbs
Sized to accommodate small children, teenagers and adults
Safe, durable, and versatile
Reasonably priced

Our Concerns:

Riding surfaces must be smooth and flat – won’t work on carpets
Not suitable for kids under the age of three

Little Tikes Cozy Truck Ride-On

Best Seller

With working doors and a big smile on the grille, it’s easy to see why the Little Tikes Cozy Truck is one of Amazon’s best sellers. The Cozy Truck is an extremely durable ride-on toy that has a drop-down tailgate and fun decals.

What’s more, the Little Tikes toy has a steering wheel with a working horn, and you’ll get demo batteries when you order from Amazon. It’s important to mention that the Little Tikes Cozy Truck also comes as a Princess model, which is bright pink and purple.

Age & Size Limitations

One of the greatest things about the Cozy Truck and reasons I think it’s one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers is the removable floorboard. It makes the car accessible to both a 1-year-old and a 5-year-old.

Unfortunately, unlike the PlasmaCar ride-on toy, the Cozy Truck has a weight limit of only 50 lbs. So your kids can’t grow into it quite as much as they could with the PlasmaCar.

The Safety Features

The Cozy Truck, along with all other Little Tikes toys, goes through extensive third-party testing to ensure its safety. What’s more, Little Tikes claims that it doesn’t use any BPA, harmful PVC, phthalates, or latex for its products.

If you’re worried about your little ones riding the Cozy Truck on their own, there’s a handle on the back of it that you can use to push your kids around.

What We Like:

Quiet wheels that can spin 360°
Features a removable floorboard
Made without phthalates, latex, PVC, or BPA
Working gas cap & steering wheel with an electric horn for more realistic play
Opening & closing driver’s door

Our Concerns:

Difficult assembly
The weight limit is only 50 lbs

Step2 Whisper Ride II Ride On Push Car

Best Parent Pushable Ride In Car

Do you want an amazing ride-on toy for your 1-year-old or 2-year-old that you can push yourself? If so, the Step2 Whisper Ride is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers that money can buy.

The Step2 Whisper Ride is a push car for toddlers that has quiet wheels and a working horn. With your storage needs in mind, Step2 made the handle completely foldable so you can easily carry it around wherever you go.

The Whisper Ride also has two adorable cup holders so your kids can take their snacks on the go. What’s more, Step2 put another cup holder on the handle so parents can enjoy a drink while they’re playing with their children.

You can get the whisper ride in 2 different kid friendly colors, blue as seen above, or fire engine red:

Age & Size Limitations

For the Whisper Ride, Step2 says kids that are between 18 months and 4 years old can play with it and ride in it. Also, just like Cozy Truck, this ride-on toy has a weight limit of only 50 lbs.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a removable floorboard, so I wouldn’t recommend it for kids above the age of 4.

The Safety Features

One of the coolest safety features of the Whisper Ride and one that the two previous didn’t have is an adjustable safety belt. So before they hit the road, you can strap your kids in to ensure that they don’t get hurt.

What We Like:

Easy-fold handle makes storage and transport a snap
Quiet wheels and working horn
Adjustable safety belt
Under-seat storage and cup holders make it ideal for long rides

Our Concerns:

The weight limit is only 50 lbs
Not the best choice for older kids

Little Tikes Rocking Horse

Practically Indestructible & Most Fun Per Dollar

The Little Tikes Rocking Horse has been around for ages and it’s one of the most durable ride-on toys you can buy for your toddlers. It comes in a bright blue color, smooth edges all around, and easy-grip handles.

Another cool thing about this rocking horse is that you can put it both indoors and outdoors. Due to its unique design, it’s perfectly stable on almost all surfaces.

But possibly one of the best things about the Little Tikes Rocking Horse is that you can use it with Alexa. Download the Little Tikes Play Big Skill on any device that supports Alexa to encourage interactive play.

Blue is the most iconic color for this little rocking horse, but you can also get it in Magenta if that is more your kids style:

Age & Size Limitations

The Little Tikes Rocking Horse is also probably the best ride-on toy you could buy for a 1-year-old or 2-year-old since it’s pretty compact. The company says that a 3-year-old could play on it, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it for tots older than that.

As far as the weight capacity goes, it’s the same as the previous three ride-on toys — it can support up to 50 lbs.

The Safety Features

The Little Tikes Rocking Hours has a high seat, but a low saddle so your children could play on it for hours on end. Also, with such a unique design, there’s no chance that your kids could ever fall off it and hurt themselves.

It comes fully assembled so you don’t have to fiddle around with screws that your kids could put in their mouths and accidentally swallow.

What We Like:

Smooth edges and easy-grip handles
Can be used indoors and outdoors
Compatible with the Little Tikes Play Big Skill
Has a high seat and low saddle
Easy to clean plastic
No assembly required

Our Concerns:

Weight capacity is only 50 lbs

Strider 12 Sport Balance Bike

Best Balance Bike For Toddlers

If you have a 2-year-old at home who’s always bouncing off the walls, it’s time to invest in a balance bike. Strider 12 Sport Balance Bike is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers that’ll teach them how to ride a bike without training wheels.

The Strider – 12 comes in 8 different colors, Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, White, Yellow, and Silver, so there should be one to make every kid happy.

You’ll also be happy to know that since the bike is made from an aluminum alloy, it only weighs 5.3 lbs. That means that you can easily carry it around if your kids ever get tired of riding.

Age & Size Limitations

With an adjustable seat and handlebar, the Strider sportbike accommodates kids from 18 months to 5 years old. In fact, you can customize the height so that it’s anywhere between 12 inches and 20 inches tall.

You can also get the Baby Bundle which includes an attachment that turns your bike into a rocker, the theory being that you can let very young tots use the rocker to “bond” with the Strider before graduating to using it as a balance bike.

There is a bit of confusion about the lowest recommended age for this attachment, depending on where you look it’s either 6 months or 1.5 years. Most parents seem to be comfortable letting their one-year-olds use the rocker and the majority say their kids love it.

If your kids are at the upper end of their toddler years and growing faster then an angry Hulk, you may want to look at the Strider 14x which is made for kids 3 – 7 years old and is designed to ease the transition to a regular pedal-powered bicycle.

Strider 14x Balance Bike

The Safety Features

One of the best things about the Strider is that it has mini-grips which are so narrow that even a 1-year-old could handle them without a problem. Also, the bike has a cushy handlebar that improves control and safety.

Another cool thing about the Strider is that the seat is a bit smaller and narrower than most balance bikes. That way, it can help with your child’s posture and balance.

What We Like:

Lightweight and durable
Comes in a 5 different vibrant colors
Adjustable seat and handlebar
Easy to assemble

Our Concerns:

The handlebar doesn’t have a mechanism to stop it from spinning 360°
Tools are needed to adjust seat and handlebar

Hape Scoot Around Ride-On Wood Bike

Best Wooden Ride-On Toy

If you’re tired of plastic and aluminum and want something that’ll last your kid a lifetime — you’re in dire need of the Hape Scoot Bike. It’s by far one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers because it’s safe, sturdy, extremely durable, and made out of wood.

The Scoot Bike features four rubber-rimmed wheels that ensure stability, but also won’t leave scuff marks on your floors.

The Hape Scoot Bike is also extremely lightweight and it only weighs 2.5 lbs. So once your child is done scooting around, you can easily pick the bike up and carry it with you.

Age & Size Limitations

Hape says that this is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers who are between one and three years old. However, when you’re assembling the bike, be extremely careful since it has some smaller pieces that are potential choking hazards.

It’s also important to mention that the Hape Scoot Bike can withstand up to 110 lbs of weight. Even though the maximum capacity is pretty high, you can’t adjust the height of the bike.

The Safety Features

For the Scoot Bike, Hape used splinter-free wood and designed it to only have round edges. Also, the bike was made using only non-toxic finishes and water-based paint. Of course, Hape also claims that all the bikes sold in North America meet and exceed US safety standards.

What We Like:

Lightweight but durable wooden construction
Rubberized, non-marking wheels
Good for balance and motor skills
The weight capacity is 110 lbs
Finished with non-toxic, water-based paints

Our Concerns:

The height can’t be adjusted
Assembly might be challenging for some
Only available in one color

Step2 Up & Down Roller Coaster Ride On

Best Roller Coaster Ride-On

For the Roller Coaster Ride-On, Step2 thought outside of the box and designed a true masterpiece! It’s essentially a 10-foot, 3-piece slide that comes with one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers.

It combines the experience of driving around and scooting, with the excitement of going on a roller coaster. The car track is extremely easy to assemble and you don’t need to use any tools since they all snap into place.

Also, if your toddlers ever get bored with going up and down the roller coaster, they can use the car on its own. Since the roller coaster is pretty big, you might want to consider installing it outdoors on a flat surface. Of course, if you have space inside, you can use it indoors, as well, and it won’t scratch up your floors.

Age & Size Limitations

The Step2 Roller Coaster is pretty versatile and it can definitely grow with your children. The company says its best for kids between the ages of two and five because they’ll find it most comfortable.

As far as the maximum weight capacity, like many other ride-on toys on this list, the Step2 Roller Coast can withstand up to 50 lbs.

The Safety Features

With your children’s safety in mind, the Step2 Roller Coaster comes with non-slip stairs that they can use to easily access the platform. Also, when the ride-on car is parked at the top of the slope, it sits in recessed wells so it doesn’t move when your kids try to hop on.

For additional safety, Step2 also added molded in-foot rests inside the car, as well as a handrail. Finally, there’s a high back on the car to ensure both stability and comfort.

What We Like:

It has a ton of safety features
Assembly is pretty simple
Kids go nuts when they see it!

Our Concerns:

Only one kid can ride on it at a time
The weight limit is only 50 lbs

Little Tikes Go and Grow Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe

Best On a Budget & Most Adorable Toddler Ride-On Toy

The Little Tikes Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe is by far one of the cutest and best ride-on toys for toddlers on this list. This giraffe-shaped ride-on toy is only 16 inches tall, making it the perfect height for most tots. It also weighs only two pounds and you can assemble it in less than 20 minutes.

Like the Strider 12, the Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe also has mini-grips so that any child can hold on tight without a struggle. What’s more, your children can use it both indoors and outdoors.

When you order off Amazon, you’ll also get fun little decals for the giraffe that you can place pretty much anywhere you want.

Age & Size Limitations

Before buying the Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe, keep in mind that it’s pretty small, which is why I’d only recommend it for kids between the ages of one and three. Fortunately, it does have an adjustable seat, which means there’s some wiggle room when your kids start growing.

Also, just like the Cozy Truck and Rocking Horse, this ride-on toy has a maximum weight capacity of only 50 lbs.

The Safety Features

Like I mentioned before, all Little Tikes toys go through extensive third-party testing to ensure their safety. In addition to that, the Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe has a controlled steering radius, which means your children can’t make sharp turns that would cause them to lose balance.

Another safety feature of this ride-on toy is that it has a large back wheel that provides extra stability for riding. Also, the wheel in the back is equipped with a sturdy wheel guard.

What We Like:

Adorable giraffe design
Has a large back wheel and wheel guard for added safety
Stable and toddler friendly
Easy to assemble
Can be used indoors and outdoors

Our Concerns:

The steering radius can be restricting
Not interesting to older kids – effective usage time frame is shorter than with other toys on the list

Peg Perego John Deere Ground Force Tractor with Trailer

Best Motorized Ride-On Toy For Toddlers

If your toddlers are growing up fast and find most regular ride-on toys boring — you need to show them the Peg Perego Force Tractor. Trust me, it won’t leave them feeling indifferent.

The John Deere is a battery-powered tractor that has two speeds: 2.25 mph and 4.5 mph. It is definitely one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers if your kids want something fast that they don’t have to push.

Peg Perego also put big, high-traction wheels on its tractor to ensure that it’s always stable, no matter the surface. But one feature that you won’t get with any other ride-on car and one that makes this tractor unique is the FM radio. Your kids can play some tunes while they’re on their way to the farm (or just around the block).

Age & Size Limitations

Since the Ground Force Tractor is a motorized ride-on toy and can go up to 4.5 mph, it’s better suited for older kids. In fact, Peg Perego recommends this for children who are anywhere between two and seven years old. Fortunately, it is a toy that your toddlers can grow into as it has an adjustable seat.

The Safety Features

If you’re worried about the tractor going too fast for your little ones, you’ll be happy to know that the second gear has a lock-out feature. Essentially, you can control how fast the tractor’s going and stop it.

Also, the Ground Force Tractor has an accelerator pedal with automatic brakes. It will immediately turn on once the speed reaches 4.5 mph.

What We Like:

High traction wheels offer a smooth ride on different kinds of surfaces
Has 2 parent settable speeds – top speed is a respectable 4.5 mph.
Has an FM radio, trailer, and armrests
Easy to assemble
Spare parts are available for the wheels and other main parts

Our Concerns:

The FM radio requires its own battery and has poor reception
The battery has a long charging time and doesn’t last very long
Wheels can get cracked and wear with heavy use over a long period
Rather expensive

Power Wheels Thomas and Friends Thomas Train With Track

Best Riding Toy With a Track

Are your kiddos big fans of the Thomas and Friends show? Do they love playing with trains and setting up tracks? If your answer was yes, you need to get them the Power Wheels Thomas and Friends train with track. It is, without a doubt, one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers who dream of being conductors.

The train is a battery-powered ride-on toy that can go 1 mph when it’s on the track and 2 mph when it’s off. If you don’t have enough room in your home to set up the 18-foot track, you can put it outside. Just make sure it’s on a completely flat surface or it might not work properly.

Operating the Thomas and Friends train is super simple and your child can easily make it go or stop with a push of a button. The ride-on toy also makes all sorts of fun noises and sounds, just like Thomas does.

Age & Size Limitations

One thing to know about the Thomas and Friends train track is that it’s pretty small. It actually has a maximum weight capacity of only 40 lbs. With that said, I think it’d best suited for kids that are around one to three years old.

The Safety Features

Like the majority of the best ride-on toys for toddlers, Power Wheels has put a seat with a high back on the train. It ensures that your kids stay safe and snug while riding around and making adorable choo-choo noises.

What We Like:

Battery-powered train that can be used on or off the track
Comes with 18 feet of track
Can go up to 2 mph
Track makes it very safe for young toddlers

Our Concerns:

The battery isn’t easily accessible
Only supports 40 lbs

Berg Pedal Car Buzzy Nitro

Best Pedal-Powered Car

The Berg Buzzy Nitro is probably one of the coolest ride-on toys for toddlers that your kids can grow into. It’s a four-wheel bike with a unique go-kart design, making it extremely easy to master and ride.

The Buzzy Nitro features innovative EVA tires that can never go flat and that you won’t ever have to inflate. What’s more, the tires are completely silent and won’t make that awful rattling noise like some cheaper, plastic models.

It has an adjustable steering wheel and saddle, which means your kids can use it for 2-3 years before outgrowing it.

This sturdy unit can be used indoors or outdoors. And I say outdoors I don’t mean for a casual stroll up and down the driveway – this baby can handle some serious off-road action.

Okay, it may not be sturdy enough to run the Baja 1000 but it should be able to handle anything a 3 year old can throw at it!

Age & Size Limitations

Berg says that its bike is so easy to use and sturdy, a 2-year-old could comfortably ride on it. Luckily, thanks to the adjustable design, your little ones can use it until the age of five. The bike also has a maximum weight capacity of 66 lbs, which is more than most of the other ride-on toys in this roundup.

The Safety Features

Since the Buzzy Nitro is not a trike and has four wheels, it’s much sturdier and safer to ride. One cool feature that the Berg has is that the pedals don’t move when steering, making it almost impossible to flip over.

What We Like:

Easy to master and ride
Has four whisper wheels which can’t go flat
Has adjustable steering wheel and seat
Can be used indoors and outdoors
Pedal power so a great way for kids to burn off excess energy

Our Concerns:

The pedal radius is small, making it difficult to drive the bike uphill
The assembly instructions can be difficult to follow

Fisher-Price Harley-Davidson Tough Trike

Best Pedal Trike for Toddlers

If you want a cool-looking trike for your tot that is shockingly cheap and super-durable, there’s no better choice than the Harley-Davidson Tough Trike.

This pedal-powered ride-on toy was actually inspired by the original Big Wheel, but Fisher-Price made some improvements on the newer model.

For example, the Harley-Davidson bike has bigger pedals, making it easier for your kids to turn them. Another change that Fisher-Price made is having extremely durable and rugged tires that offer extra stability.

The Tough Trike also has a small storage compartment under the seat where your kids can put their favorite snacks.

They also make several other styles of the tough trike:

Kawasaki

Fisher Price Kawasaki Tough Trike

Age & Size Limitations

Since it is a pretty small trike, I’d say it’s one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers who are between the ages of two and five. Also, keep in mind that the weight capacity for this trike is 55 lbs.

Unfortunately, unlike some of the other toys I’ve talked about, the Harley-Davidson trike doesn’t have an adjustable steering wheel or pedals. So while it’s still an excellent choice for toddlers, they won’t be able to grow with the toy.

The Safety Features

The Harley-Davidson trike has easy-grip handlebars so that any child can easily hold on. Fisher-Price also says that its trike has a stable wheelbase to ensure that it never flips over.

What We Like:

One of the best, most durable trikes on the market
Suitable for all terrains indoors and out
Sports a unique design that echoes Harley Davidson along with the logo
Easy-grip handlebars and a stable wheelbase
Great stability – has nice wide tires and is nearly impossible to tip it over

Our Concerns:

Not suitable for kids under 38 inches
The front wheel doesn’t provide a lot of traction
Plastic wheels are loud

Power Wheels Lil’ Quad

Best Motorized Quad Rider

All Models Are Currently Unavailable – Check Out the Kid Trax Version

If trikes aren’t your kids’ thing, I recommend the Power Wheels Lil’ Quad — by far one of the best four-wheel ride-on toys for toddlers. It’s a battery-powered toy that can go up to 2 mph and it’s perfect for all outdoor rides.

The Lil’ Quad has an easy push button on the right-hand handlebar so that your little ones can easily make it go or stop. It has durable wheels, a sturdy base, and a handy cargo rack in the back.

The quad comes in all sorts of different stylings and you can choose from a couple of different options. Some of the versions you can buy include:

Age & Size Limitations

With a maximum capacity of only 40 lbs, this ride-on is only recommended for kids between the ages of one and three. But since it does go 2 mph, make sure to always keep an eye on your tots while they’re driving around.

The Safety Features

The Lil’ Quad comes with built-in footrests that your kids can put their little feet onto for extra stability. Power Wheels also put mini-grips on its quad so that any toddler, no matter how big or small, can safely hold on.

VTech Sit-To-Stand Ultimate Alphabet Train

Best For Young Toddlers

If you want to get something for the youngest members of your household, the VTech Alphabet Train is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers out there. It comes in three brightly colored options: Red, Pink, and Blue.

One of the biggest selling points of the Alphabet Train is that it’s actually a learning toy that has 10 activities your little ones can explore. For example, they can read from the storybook, mess around with the gears, and learn about the alphabet and numbers.

Some other interesting features of the Alphabet Train include a walkie-talkie and a number pad that’ll encourage role play and learning.

Age & Size Limitations

The Alphabet Train is one of the best ride-on toys for toddlers who are around one to three years old. Since it’s pretty small, it probably won’t be interesting for older kids, unlike the John Deere Tractor or PlasmaCar, for example.

With that said, the Alphabet Train definitely can, and will, grow with your tots. Once they start walking around, they can use the train as a walker to help them become more stable and confident.

The Safety Features

Just like Little Tikes, VTech does extensive third-party testing to ensure all of its toys meet and exceed European and US safety standards. For example, the Alphabet Train has only round edges and there are no tiny holes that they can accidentally get their fingers stuck into.

What We Like:

Encourages learning and imaginative role play
Various features promote educational development including language, motor skills, and auditory stimulation.
Doubles as a walker
Compact, lightweight  and can be easily carried to different places
Introduces your children to animals, colors, letters, and numbers

Our Concerns:

A bit pricey toy
This ride-on toy is ONLY for toddlers – so it has a limited lifespan

PonyCycle Official Classic U Series Ride-On Horse Toy

Best Plush Toy

When you’re looking for the best ride-on toys for toddlers, it’s key that the toy is versatile and durable, and the PonyCycle Horse is all that and more.

There are an enormous number of options you have to decide on when buying one of these ride-on toys; first, you need to decide on the color. The PonyCycle comes in a whole bunch of different colors, including Brown, Chocolate, and Black.

Then there is the Pink Unicorn model which is a huge hit with little girls:

You can also get the PonyCycle Horse in two versions: Classic U Series or Premium K Series.

PonyCycle says that its Premium series is a bit more durable and comfortable than the Classic. Judging from the pictures I’ve seen of the 2 models side by side the premium series also looks much nicer, like a high end plush toy.

But if you’re working with a tight budget, I say, go with the Classic. It’s still an incredibly sturdy and fun ride-on that your tots are sure to love.

Age & Size Limitations

In addition to the fun color selection, you can also choose between two different sizes: Small and Medium. Before you make your final decision, make sure to take your child’s height and age into consideration.

For example, the Small is probably best for kids who are between the ages of 3 and 5. This version also has a 55 lbs weight capacity. On the other hand, the Medium is better suited for kids who are around 4 to 9 years old and its capacity is 88 lbs.

The Safety Features

PonyCycle’s Horse is entirely kid-powered and it doesn’t need any electricity or batteries to run. It also has one-way wheels that won’t roll backward and are safer than other models.

What We Like:

Improves and develops kid’s coordination & balance
For indoor and outdoor use
Safe and durable one-way wheels
No batteries required
Has two sizes and versions

Our Concerns:

Not suited for smaller kids
Heavier than some were expecting
The Premium is a bit expensive
No brakes

Now, if you’re on the lookout for the best ride-on toys for toddlers that come as different hopping animals, you need to get familiar with two companies: iPlay, iLearn and Waddle. These two companies are at the top of their games and have toy selections that are unmatched.

iPlay, iLearn Hopping Horse

For Kids Who Love to Bounce

The iPlay, iLearn Hopping Horse comes in two colors: Brown and Pink. The Hopping Horse is an incredibly sturdy, inflatable toy that’s made out of cotton and non-woven materials. Even though it’s pretty thick and durable, it’s still extremely lightweight and will provide hours of fun.

But if you don’t want the horse, you’ll be happy to know iPlay, iLearn also has a bunch of different designs that come with glowing reviews. Here are your fun choices:

The one negative thing I’d have to say about the iLearn, iPlay ride-on plushies is that they’re not suited for outdoor play. When they get wet, they’ll quickly become soaked and it’ll take ages to dry them. Also, the fabric might be a bit difficult to clean.

Age & Size Limitations

The beauty of buying any of these hopping toys is that they’re extremely versatile and will grow with your child. In fact, Waddle says its hoppers are so safe that anyone who’s more than three years old can use them.

On the other hand, since the iPlay, iLearn is a bit smaller, the company says a child who’s only 18 months old can safely hop on the toys. But consider that most of these toys have a maximum weight capacity of around 110 lbs.

The Safety Features

Most of these hoppers are pretty simple and safe on their own, so they don’t come with lots of bells and whistles. But one thing that they all share in common is their mini-grips that help your kids stay on for a longer time.

—“Big Wheels” Style Pedal Trikes —

If your kids are fans of PAW Patrol they will love this trike. It features flashing blinkers, music, and a “walkie-talkie” that plays sounds from the hit show.

They will also love the oversized front wheel which helps them pedal faster and the secret handlebar storage compartment where they can keep their rescue gear.Read more

Parents love this ride-on too because it’s designed with kid’s comfort and safety in mind. It has a wide wheelbase which makes it virtually impossible to tip over. Slip-resistant pedals and easy-grip handlebars help keep your kids hands and feet on the vehicle where they belong.

Radio Flyer Deluxe Big Flyer – Best ‘Big Wheel” for Older Kids

  • Ages: 3.5 – 6 years
  • Colors: Red
  • Styles: na

This chopper-style trike is a great choice for slightly older kids who would turn up their noses at something like the PAW Patrol trike (see above). It has a sleek racing design that even the pickiest 5-year-old will love.

The Deluxe Big Flyer is designed with performance in mind – it features a huge 16″ front wheel that is built for speed. The front tire has a performance grip tread to hug the road while the small rear wheels are slick to allow for some epic drifts.

But don’t worry, the super low center of gravity and wide wheelbase should keep your little ones from tipping over!

Like most toys made by Radio Flyer the Deluxe Big Flyer is made to last with a tough plastic body, chrome handlebars, and an adjustable seat so the trike can grow with your child.

The biggest complaint about this ride-on is that overly rambunctious kids can easily spin the front tire to shreds, or drift and wear out the back ones in a month or 2. Replacement tires are a bit expensive so if your little angel uses the trike often it could get a bit expensive to maintain.

One fun option is to purchase an aftermarket custom traction kit for the front wheel from BigWheelRally.com.

— Parent Pushable Ride-On Vehicles —

Step2 Push Around Buggy GT Push Car

  • Age: 1.5-3 years
  • Colors: Blue – Pink – Orange

Parent push-able ride-in cars have become extremely popular in the past couple years, and for good reason. They’re the perfect solution for leisurly strolls around the neighborhood, trips to the park or expeditions to the mall.

There are hundreds of different models available so trying to decide which one to buy can be quite daunting (I probably spent 10-15 hours looking at various models). My top pick is the Step 2 Whisper Ride II – which you can find in my “Best Of” list above. However, the Push Around Buggy was a VERY close second.

The Push Around Buggy has most of the same features as the Whisper Ride; an extra-wide grip handle for parental control, a pretend steering wheel with a honking horn, a safety belt, molded cup holders, and storage space located under the hood. Both cars have a 50lb. (22.68 kg) weight limit.

But I personally like the positioning of the kid’s cup holders on the Whisper Ride II better. Also, the Whisper Ride II has a cup holder on the push handle because – hey – parents get thirsty too!

On the other hand, the Push Around Buggy looks like a race car whereas the Whisper Ride II looks like a family sedan – so your little ones may be more excited by the Buggy.

Radio Flyer Deluxe Steer and Stroll Trike

  • Age: 2-5 years
  • Colors: Red – Pink
  • Styles: na

Here’s another great little parent pushable from Radio Flyer. It starts off as a classic little red tricycle – but when your little one gets tuckered out and refuses to go on, you can simply pop in the metal handle and continue your stroll.

No more trying to coax your little angel into soldiering on or hunching over to push them home.

The steering mechanism on this trike is brilliantly designed. Unlike most push cars that you just scoot left or right, the handle on this trike actually takes control of the handlebars. Read more

Turn the handle right – the handlebars turn right – turn the handle left, handlebars go left. This would seem like a recipe for mechanical failure – but according to the reviews, the handle works flawlessly.

Most Parents say the Steer and Stroll is everything you’d expect from Radio Flyer; sturdy, well-constructed, and dependable. But there are some complaints such as the tires being made of hard plastic instead of rubber, which makes quite a racket when going over gravel.

Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Stroll ‘N Trike

  • Age: 9 months-5 years
  • Colors: RedPink
  • Styles: na

The Ultimate “Grow With Me” Trike

One of the main complaints about the Steer and Stroll (see above) is that, once you take over the pushing duties, kids may get sleepy and fall of the trike. The Stroll N’ Trike solves this problem

This amazing transformer starts off as a baby stroller by adding a wrap-around safety tray and 3 point harness. When your child hits 18 months you can remove the safety tray to give them a bit more freedom.

When your child hits 2 years old you can remove the backrest, footrests, and seat belts and the trike becomes a parent steerable trike.

It could be argued that a better way to go is to buy multiple transportation solutions for the various stages of your child’s development, but I’m a bit of a design geek so to me this thing is amazing!

— Wooden Ride-On Toys —

We’ve always been huge fans of wooden ride-on toys because, well, they’re so fantastic. Wooden ride-on toys are an excellent addition to any backyard because they’re durable and sturdy. Also, they’re extremely safe and will last you and your kids a lifetime.

Wishbone Flip 2in1 Rock and Roll Ride-On Toys

  • Age: 1-5 years
  • Colors: Red, White
  • Styles: na

The Wishbone Flip 2-in-1 has, by far, one of the coolest designs we’ve seen. Due to a unique wheel mechanism, the Wishbone can go from a rocking horse to a ride-on toy in a matter of seconds. Also, it’s perfect for toddlers of all ages, and even your one-year-olds can safely rock or roll on it.

For this particular ride-on toy, Wishbone used birchwood, which is a durable type of wood.

Now, the Wishbone does need a bit of assembly, but the instructions are pretty straightforward and it shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes to do it.

Hape Little Red Rider Wooden Kid’s Ride on Bike

  • Age: 1-3 years
  • Colors: Red
  • Styles: na

You guys know that we love Hape so much that the Scoot Around bike got the title of the Best Wooden Toy.

Unfortunately, the Little Red Rider just missed the cut the first time around, so we thought we’d talk about how incredible it is now.

For one, it’s made from splinter-free wood and all of the coats and paints are non-toxic. Also, the Little Red Rider is entirely kid-powered, which means you don’t have to fiddle around with batteries or chargers. Read more

The clever design starts off as a walker then becomes a ride on when your toddler is old enough. It it’s extremely stable and can’t be tipped over, which is why Hape says that the ride-on toy is perfect for one-year-olds.

Thanks to its sturdy construction, your little ones can easily drive around in your backyard without much hassle. And the bubberized wheels make for a smooth (and quiet) ride inside.

Radio Flyer Classic Dual Deck Tricycle – Best Classic Tricycle

  • Age: 2-4 years
  • Colors: RedPink
  • Styles: na

The Radio Flyer is probably one of the cutest trikes to ever hit the market, it is a timeless design that has gone pretty much unchanged since I was a kid.

This ride-on has a steel frame that’s almost impossible to dent or bend, making it perfect for kids who are still learning how to ride.

The Radio Flyer features rubber tires and spoked wheels which ensure extra stability for your little ones.

The handlebars are wide making them easy for kids to grab, they also make it more difficult for the trike to tip over. And the steps in back help kids get on and off the trike.

In addition to the Classic Red, you can also get the trike in a pastel pink version.

Just be aware that this is a metal frame so be sure to bring it inside or cover it up on rainy days.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car

To celebrate 30 successful years in the business, Little Tikes remodeled and redesigned an old fan-favorite — the Cozy Coupe. And judging by the response they did a bang up job!

This is one of the consistently best rated ride on toys across just about every platform I check. Parents and kids just love it.

Even though we loved the old version, the Anniversary car has some special features, like the removable floorboard which will have them racing around the backyard, Flintstones style.Read more

Also, Little Tikes added a handle on the back of the ride-on so that you can easily push your kids around when they get tired.

Little Tikes says the Cozy Coupe is good for kids 18 months to five years (I think more like 4) and it has a respectable weight limit of 50 lbs. The car is very easy to clean and has space for 2 drink bottles behind the driver.

They also make the Cozy Coupe in 4 other models:

Princess

Fairy

Dinosaur

Ladybug

Warning – many reviewers found this car an absolute bear to put together. So if you are not tool-handy and patient you may want to consider the updated version of the Cozy Coupe instead.

Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage

The Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage is the absolute cutest ride-on toy probably in the world. If your kids have ever dreamed of being Cinderella or living out their princess fantasies, you need to get them this Little Tikes toy right now.

The Princess Carriage gets amazing reviews from parents (and kids) and has been on Amazon’s Choice product list for a very long time.

This super cute Horse & Carriage has a cup holder for both you and your tot. What’s more, it can make a horse galloping sound to make the experience feel more realistic for your little ones.Read more

This toy also comes in a light blue model and a purple carriage pulled by a unicorn.

One of the best things about this ride-on is that parents can control it from both the front and back. In the back there is smallish, not so comfortable handle – but in the front – the reins flip around effectively turning the carriage into a pullable wagon.

Warning: There will be an hour or two long assembly required when purchasing this product since there are many features you will need to put together. From the handle to the carriage, to the horse. This, however, still doesn’t stop many parents from purchasing and loving this ride-on.

This video gives you a pretty good idea of how well designed it is:

Lascoota 2-in-1 Kick Scooter with Removable Seat

  • Age: 2-8 years
  • Colors: 11 combinations

What makes this scooter truly different from the hundreds of others on the market is the unique 2-in-1 adjustable/removable seat and the 4 adjustable handlebar heights.

With the seat on, 2-year-olds can use it as a ride-on toy. But as they grow older and more confident, the seat comes off and it becomes a scooter.

This unique design gives the Kick Scooter some serious longevity, this is one of the few toys on the list that can be used by both a 2 and an 8-year-old.

It also comes in eight different colors so you’re sure to find one (or two) that your children will love. What’s more, the Lascoota has a wide rear brake, which makes stopping safer than ever. Also, Lascoota has added light-up wheels on all of its three wheels.

Mega Bloks Ride On Caterpillar with Excavator

  • Age: 1-4 years
  • Colors: Cat Yellow
  • Styles: na

The Mega Bloks is probably the ultimate backyard ride-on toy for kids who like to drive fast and dig faster. It gets amazing reviews and is very reasonably priced.

This ride-on toy has an excavator arm in the back with a shovel that can rotate 360°.  The steering wheel has giant buttons on top that play authentic truck sounds (like really loud!)

This was my boy’s favorite toy from around 2-3 years old, and he still loved to pound on the buttons all the way up till 4. Read more

Which brings up one of the best features of this little beast – it is practically indestructible – and believe me, he tried. I’m sure if we still had this toy today – those frigging buttons would still be going full blast.

If you decide to get your little diggers this toy for the backyard, you’ll also get 10 CAT-themed building Mega Bloks which can be stuck to various attachment points on the vehicle. I would recommend also picking up an extra set of Mega Bloks as your kids really can’t build an epic structure with only 10 blocks.

Retro Radio Flyer Rocket Ride-on Toy – Best Retro Style Ride On Toy

  • Colors: Red

I love the retro look of this cute rocket inspired ride-on toy. If you’re looking for a prop for your kids’ next Instagram photoshoot you really can’t do much better than the radio flyer rocket. However, as a ride-on toy, it has some issues – like the fact that the front wheels are not steerable.

This doesn’t seem to be a problem for most kids below 2 as they will mostly use the toy as a walker, but as your child grows older they may become a bit frustrated by the lack of steering.

This Radio Flyer Rocket Ride has flashing lights on the dash and plays realistic astronaut and space sounds that are incredibly effective for encouraging kids to play creatively.

Also, your kids can ride around in the backyard thanks to the rugged and durable wheels.

The product gets great reviews and is very easy to assemble compared to some of the ride-ons on this list. Most people say it only takes around 20-30 minutes until it is ready to ride.

Physical Development – When your child is just learning to walk they can use the Smart Car for support by grasping the back handle. Then when they’re ready it becomes a sit on bouncer.

— Motorized Ride-On Vehicles —

Motorized ride-on vehicles are the best choice for toddlers who’ve already mastered the fine arts of walking and scooting around. But since some of these motorized toys can go pretty fast, we usually recommend them for older tots and kids.

Power Wheels Jeep Wrangler (Hot Wheels Version)

Race into magical adventures!

The Jeep Wrangler from Power Wheels is fast, stylish, and built for fun and endless backyard adventures!

No matter if they’re driving in the backyard or indoors, your kids can go up to 5 mph in either forward or reverse.

Of course, if you feel like that’s a bit too fast, you can use the high-speed lockout option that lets parents control how fast the car goes.

The Jeep is very well built, it has a solid frame that fits 2 kids from age 3 to 7 and up to 130 pounds total. It is also very safe with a Power-Lock braking system that automatically stops the vehicle when your kid takes their foot off the pedal.Read more

The only downside of this vehicle is the battery life. You can expect to get between 1-4 hours of drive time. The riding time is affected by a bunch of different factors like; what kind of surface you’re driving on, total passenger weight, ambient temperature, and how fast your kids drive.

When the battery dies you will need to spend a full 14 hours recharging so be sure to have other options available for your little ones to play with.

The Jeep Wrangler comes in 5 other awesome themes including: Disney Princess, Jurassic World, Sunny Day, Toy Story 4, Wonder Women, and Wrangler Red.

Best Choice Products 12V Kids Ride On Jeep w/ Remote Control

Best Remote Control Ride On Car

Another great option if you want a 12 volt motorized Wrangler style Jeep, this one is from a company called Best Choice Products out of California. While it looks very similar to the Power Wheels version above – there are some very important differences – which is why it made the list.

The main selling point of this car is that it has 2 modes – manual, where the kid drives it by himself, and Remote Control – where you, dear parent, get to take your little angel for a ride using the handy remote controller!Read more

It also has some other cool features like working headlights, a spring suspension system, and best of all, your child can listen to tunes on the built-in radio, or plug in an external device via an audio port.

The Best Choice Jeep has 3 adjustable speeds, but the top speed is only 3.7 mph vs Power Wheels 5 mph top speed. The Power Wheels can also hold more weight (160 lbs) vs Best Choices 65 max weight limit.

The biggest drawback with this Jeep is that it is a one seater. Which may be a deal killer for parents with multiple kids.

It’s recommended for kids ages three to eight and comes in four colors: White, Black, Blue, Pink, Green, and Red,

Just be aware that, while the majority of purchasers love this unit – there is quite a high percentage of 1-star reviews, mainly complaining about the quality of the car and the fact that it breaks down easily. Also, I decided to check the companies rep out on BBB and was not too impressed by what I found.

Honestly, there are 2 reasons I included this on my list – the first is the remote control – it is a pretty cool idea that you can drive your kids around. The second is that it is a #1 Best Seller on Amazon and I figured if I didn’t include it some of you may think that I was remiss in my duties.

But in my opinion, if you don’t need the remote control it may be a safer bet to go with the Power Wheels jeep mentioned above.

Kid Trax Ride-On Quad, Battery Operated 6V Powered Toy

The Kid Trax Quad is a great little motorized ride on that even kids as young as 18 months can enjoy. Capable of forward speeds of 1.5 MPH, this quad has easy push-button acceleration that’s perfect for little hands.

Features such as Kid Trax power trax rubber traction strip tires for all terrain performance make this toy adventurous, yet safe.

This quad is VERY similar to the Power Wheels Lil” Quad mentioned above. The price is comparable, weight limits and age ranges are close, both models get great reviews so it was really hard to pick a winner for my Top Picks.

I love the Disney Minnie Mouse version, but if that’s not your tot’s cup of tea they can choose from several other themes and colors as well.

Power Wheels Jurassic World Dino Racer

  • Ages: 3 – 7 years
  • Colors: Dinosaur Gray
  • Styles: Dino

For Dinosaur Loving Kids

The Power Wheels Jurassic World Dino Racer is the prefect motorized ride-on for young adventure seekers. With big fat knobby tires and a top speed of 6 mph, this ATV will have your little daredevils zooming over wet grass, gravel, and other rough terrains.

It’s also nice to know that this vehicle can go 3 mph in reverse in case the adventures get a little too scary!Read more

This Dino Racer features a sturdy steel frame that supports a max weight of 65 lbs (29.5 kg) and a specially designed Power-Lock brake system that automatically stops the vehicle when your child lifts their foot off the pedal.

Plus, with a parent-controlled, high-speed lockout, you can start things off slow then increase the top speed as your kids become more proficient riders.

This little ride-on gets AMAZING reviews across the board. I must admit I have never had a chance to mess with one of these but according to reviewers, it is super sturdy, incredibly easy to assemble, and kids go absolutely nuts when they get one.

What more can you ask for?

The only criticism reviewers leave is based on the price – which I admit is quite high.

This is probably not the best choice for younger toddlers, but if they are already experienced riders and aren’t afraid of going fast, you should get them the Dino Racer from Power Wheels.

Rockin Rider Charger 2-in-1 Pony Ride On

2 Toys for the Price of One

The Rockin’ Ride Pony features an adorable pony design that can easily go from rocking to riding in a matter of seconds.

The pony has 4 plastic wheels that allow your child to scoot around the house using their little legs. When they get tired you can change it up by locking the horse into the rocker base, instantly changing it into a rocking horse.

The Rocking Rider is covered in a soft, plushy material that your kids are bound to enjoy and when they squeeze the pony’s ear, they can hear an exclusive My Pony song, along with six phrases. Read more

Finally, the pony has a synchronized moving mouth that’ll make the whole experience feel more realistic for your tots.

It’s adorable and a great thing for kids, but the wheels are finicky, the hair falls out, and it’s cheap plastic overall.

The Rocking Rider gets great reviews from parents and kids but there have been numerous complaints about the song player breaking after several months.

This is a great option if you have limited space (or budget) the pony’s ability to transform from ride-on to rocker will keep your child entertained for hours. However, If you are not that interested in the ride-on aspect and just want a simple rocking horse the next item is probably a better choice.

Labebe Unicorn Rocking Horse -Various Cute Animal Designs

  • Ages: 6 Months – 3 years
  • Colors: various
  • Styles: Pink Unicorn – Blue Squirrel – White Swan – Pink Flamingo — With Wheels: Green Dinosaur – Pink Elephant – Yellow Giraffe

Not only does the Labebe Unicorn Rocking Horse have one of the cutest designs, but its safety features are off the charts, too. The rocker’s seat is surrounded on 3 sides making it more difficult for children to fall off and it has a little seatbelt you can strap your kids in with.

The seat is made of filled PP cotton that’s soft, durable, stain-resistant, and safe for your little one’s skin.

At a little over 13 pounds, this ride-on toy is sturdy. The structure is made of solid wood which works great on both carpet and hardwood floors.

Everything about the Unicorn Rocking Horse screams High Quality… but you pay for it. This will probably cost you more than $100 depending on where you buy it.Read more

If you’re not a fan of the pink unicorn, you can also get the Blue Squirrel, Yellow Giraffe or Pink Flamingo.

Labebe also makes several models with convertible wheels which is a nice addition – BUT on the wheeled version, there is no seatbelt – which in my opinion is a major oversite as it is one of the best features on the original version.

I would stick to the wheel-less models – unless you absolutely must have the Hippie Green Dinosaur (which is awesome) as I could only find that design in the wheeled version.

Things to Consider Before Buying a Toddler Ride On Toy

Before you hit Add to Cart, here are some questions to ask yourself:

Is the Toy Safe?

I know that there’s not a parent in the world whose first thought when buying a toy isn’t Is this thing safe? That’s why I thought it was so important to put a safety section under each and every one of my reviews of the best ride-on toys for toddlers.

For example, when you’re looking at bikes, trikes, and walkers, you should always check how sturdy and stable the base is. On the other hand, if you’re buying a hopping toy or rocking horse, you have to make sure that it has easy grips and that it doesn’t rock too far.

Before making your final purchase, look at which materials the company’s using and whether they’re safe for your child. That being said, no matter which of these ride-on toys you buy, you need to keep a constant eye out on your kids. Stay close until you feel that they’ve fully mastered the toy and get them some proper safety gear.

Safety Gear

If you plan on buying your children a battery-powered or motorized scooter that can go up to several mph, you need to get them the safety gear. Most often, some elbow and knee pads, along with a sturdy helmet are more than enough to keep your children safe.

How Durable Is the Toy?

When they’re first learning how to ride their little bikes and trikes, your kids need something that’s sturdy and durable. If it breaks the first time they fall over, your expensive ride-on toy will be nothing more than a piece of junk.

Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about that if you buy the best ride-on toys for toddlers since they all feature incredible craftsmanship. They’ll allow your children to grow into them and a couple of scratches won’t stop them from providing your kids with hours of fun.

Will the Toy Be the Right Choice for My Child’s Age?

Another key factor of your decision-making process has to be your children’s age and size. As you’ve seen, every single company and ride-on toy I’ve mentioned today has a recommended age range. You have to closely follow these recommendations to ensure you get the best ride-on toys for your tots.

For example, buying your 1-year-old a toy that’s recommended for a 3-year-old usually isn’t safe. But if you get your 5-year-old a ride-on toy that was meant for a 2-year-old, they won’t find it challenging enough and they’ll get bored quickly.

You also need to consider your children’s weight, since most of these toys have a weight limit of around 50 lbs. Fortunately, my #1 pick, the PlasmaCar can withstand up to 220 lbs and almost any child (or adult) can play on it.

Another thing you need to consider when it comes to your children’s age and size is the adjust-ability of the toy. If you want something that your little ones can grow into, the toys should have adjustable steering wheels, seats, or belts.

What Is the Toy Made Out Of?

All the best ride-on toys for toddlers come in a wide variety of different materials, including cotton, plastic, rubber, or wood. So before you settle on any material, ask yourself this: Where will my kids be playing with this toy? Indoors or outdoors?

If you want a toy that’ll be an excellent addition to your backyard, get something plastic or wooden. These are the two most durable materials that usually also have some special coatings to prevent color fading.

But if you want to set it up in your home, I recommend going with some plush or rubber, since these won’t damage your floors. Also, it’s not a good idea to leave a plush or cotton toy outside since it can get soaked or dirty pretty easily.

When you’re looking at different materials, try to think about the maintenance and how much effort you have to put in cleaning the toy. For example, if it’s plastic, you usually only need to wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth.

However, cleaning a plush or cotton toy often requires a bit more time and you’d need to either hand-wash it or put it in the washing machine.

Is the Toy Easy to Assemble?

Some of the toys on this list need a bit of assembly, which is another thing you have to take into account. If you want something hassle-free, I’d recommend a toy like the PonyCycle or the Step2 Roller Coaster.

But if you feel comfortable working on a smaller project and assembling a toy, you can get the Alphabet Train or the Cozy Truck. With that said, I found that almost all of these come with pretty clear instructions and it shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes to put any of them together.

How Much Does the Toy Cost?

The price of your brand new ride-on toy will have a massive impact on your final decision, which is why most of the toys on this list are pretty budget-friendly. Even though they come in a wide variety of prices, I think there’s something for everyone.

If you still want to find the best ride-on toys for toddlers and not have to spend a fortune, I recommend the PonyCycle U Series or the Lil’ Rollin’ Giraffe. But if the cost is not an object, I think the John Deere Tractor or the Strider Pro are your best options.

What Is the Theme or Style of the Toy?

Do your kids love Paw Patrol or Batman more? Do they think Harley-Davidson is cool or are they more impressed with a Kawasaki? Is Thomas the Tank Engine your children’s favorite character?

There are countless different styles and themes to choose that your toddlers are bound to love. Each of them features a distinct and unique design that can suit any child’s fancy.

If you want something more simplistic, you should go for one of the rides that come in a single color. They all usually have pretty clean and simple lines that your kids will never get bored of.

How Is the Toy Powered?

ride on toys for kids and toddlers

You can divide most ride-on toys into two categories based on the way they work: motor-powered or kid-powered. If the toy is kid-powered, it means that your children have to use their legs to gain momentum and drive. They’re also completely in charge of their speed and they’re always fully in control.

But if it’s motor-powered, it can have a battery or run on electricity. One of the benefits of having this kind of toy is that your toddlers can develop higher speeds than they would if they were just using their legs. With that said, motor-powered toys do require charging or a battery change to work.

Final Thoughts

When you’re buying any toy, you want to make sure they’re challenging and fun enough that your kids play on them for a long time. Otherwise, they’ll just end up as a piece of junk, collecting dust in your attic.

If you’re looking for the absolute best ride-on toys to get your kids or grandkids, you’re sure to find exactly what you need on this list. These toys come in a wide variety of sizes, styles, power options incredible enough to ensure that your kids stay entertained for years to come.
